"Review of on-line transaction with Guven's Fine Jewelry in Buford, GA.
After spending many hours looking for a good price for a particular Citizen Watch, I came upon Guven’s Fine Jewelry and they had the watch in stock and at a reasonable price. I did a little research to find out about this family owned business and it seemed like a reasonable risk to order the watch on-line from them.
The day after my order I received a phone call from Chris Guven indicating that my credit card number did not go through and could I verify it. It turns out that I must have made a typographical error when I first entered the number and Chris was able to verify that it did indeed go through as we were on the phone. He called me back later that day to indicate that it had been shipped and I would receive it in the next few business days. That was on a Friday and I received the watch the following Wednesday in CA.
It was packed like fine China and arrived in perfect working and cosmetic condition.
Several days after receiving the watch, I just happened to check a popular web based business and found out that they had reduced the price of this item very significantly. I sent an email to Chris to see if they would do price matching and indeed he was willing to do so in spite of taking a loss on the item.
Needless to say, I am satisfied and extremely impressed with the service and cooperation I received from Guven’s Fine Jewelry. If I lived in the area (I used to live in Atlanta) I would not only shop in their store but would recommend it to all my friends."

"Guvens and I go a long way back. Fifteen years ago my future husband bought my engagement ring. It was beautiful but not exactly what I wanted. So guvens made a few more rings that never quite hit the mark. I ended up leaving disappointed and discouraged. In hindsight, I can now see how my insecurities and lack of confidence in asking for what I wanted got in the way of getting my dream ring. I left a poor review and held a grudge.... for 15 years! I looked in every jewelry store I ever passed for the ring that I always wanted. I was in Philadelphia for a wedding and I found it. It happened to be fake- so I purchased it so I could bring it back to Chris and ask for what I wanted. I was surprised to find out Chris remembered me, my poor review, and my ring and he vowed to make things right. Chris hit a grand slam. My ring is even MORE beautiful than what I could have imagined. I take full responsibility for my part in not getting the ring I had dreamt of 15 years ago. I’m so thankful to guvens for their graciousness and making my dream ring a reality and the kindness he showed in taking me back...I love to show off my ring. Forever thankful. He did such an amazing job with my ring I am having him custom make two bands to go with the set ! Highly recommend. Will bend over backwards to make sure the customer is happy."
